Our journey commences in the vast expanse of eastern Russia, nearly three decades ago, with the inception of a modest yet profoundly influential band - the epic doom legends known as "Scald."
Tragically, Scald's creative journey was curtailed by a devastating accident, leaving them with only a few precious years to craft their musical legacy. A legacy that persists to this day and, hopefully, for all eternity. While everything in life is transient, we are not there just yet.
In a significant collaboration with Messe Noire Productions, we are rekindling the flames of the mystical demo, "North Winds." Messe Noire Productions played a pivotal role in this project, having previously overseen its cassette release. "North Winds," as the name suggests, carries a raw, unrefined essence. Yet, this demo transports the listener to an icy plateau shrouded in enigmatic allure, concealing countless secrets within its depths.
The journey is arduous and frigid, almost laden with tragedy, yet it possesses a haunting beauty that resonates in every echoing breath of Agyl. But this is precisely as it should be.
