Alongside Frankfurt's Capricorn-turned-Grinder, Cologne's Brainfever (translation: "Hirnhautentzundung"!) is one of those bejeweled rarities from the old Teuton guard which invariably powers the budding and lurking Germanophile within. Indeed, I first heard of once fashionably attired, mid 1980s (st)rattling troupe by means of enthused Enforcer review perusal, where one of our ilk name dropped - or rather, dive-bombed - its supposedly Diamonds evocative feeling of nostalgia. Without missing a beat, sampled up with marjeram both 1984's Capture The Night and as-of-yet-touched upon Face To Face, from 1986 (on cusp of much-too-young-to-know, suburban boyhood).
