The aptly named 1981 hail from modern-day southwestern Finland but might as well be a well hidden gem from the post punk scene of the early 80s. The band consider themselves as part of the same canon as anarchist new wave/post punk classics such as Chumbawamba, The Zounds, The Mob, Crass and Flux of Pink Indians.
