WORMWOOD sounds like nothing else happening right now, yet subtle comparisons can be made with bands like KYLESA, NEUROSIS, TARANTULA HAWK, even SKEPTICISM. Elements of doom, crust, goth, metal and prog all swirl together into one horrible nightmare soundtrack. Recorded at the band???s home studio in Seattle with the assistance of Billy Anderson, WORMWOOD features no guitars, but rather two basses, percussion, keyboards and samplers. WORMWOOD has previously released a full length as well as several split EPs with bands like FALL OF THE BASTARDS, THE ESOTERIC and TEEN CTHULHU.
