This is the 2014 debut album from Dutch death metal act Procreation released on digipak CD format by Vic Records.
Procreation began in 2012 as a death metal side project born out of a sheer love for the genre. Wilfred (drums) and Richard (guitar) started collaborating on some ideas and invited Mark (bass) and Ronald (guitar, formerly of Beyond Belief and Stone In Egypt) to join them. While death metal serves as the foundation of their sound, black and thrash metal influences also permeate Procreation’s music.
With their current lineup, the band developed enough material for their full-length debut, "Ghostwood." This album is envisioned as a supernatural-themed concept album exploring the darker aspects of human nature. "Ghostwood" was mastered by Fredde Kadeth (known for his work with Massive Assault and Anarchos) and features cover art by Marc Niederhagemann of Lifeless, under his Artwars Design studio (Master, Artillery, Supreme Pain).
