Life and Death, Italian doom metal magister Paul Chain's first'solo album after disbanding Violet Theatre, is musically a more traditional affair than the psychedelic experimentation he became synonymous with later in his career. Originally released on Minotauro Records in 1989, the Svart version is authorised and expands the original artwork to gatefold format.
