OFERMOD more or less invented the 'Religious/Orthodox' Black Metal-movement, long before the term was perpetuated. During the 18 years lifespan of this entity, only 2 full albums have been spawned. 'Thaumiel' is a sign of both the bands heritage and progress. In music, concept and beliefs OFERMOD colligates with the likes of Funeral Mist, Mortuus and Ondskapt.
