The CRYPT is honored to announce our partnering with Legendary Death Metal act from Springfield VA - MORBIUS. For the first time on vinyl, we will present the band's cult debut 1994 album "THE SHADES BELOW". This amazing vinyl release will be presented in a gatefold jacket, complete with original cover artwork, lyrics, and new liner notes from the band. Morbius is a death metal band out of Virginia, which was formed in 1990. A 1990 demo The Shades Below was followed by the Realm demo of 1991. Last World released the 1994 album The Shades Below. The band switched to Cyber for the next album. Sojourns Through The Septiac was issued in 2000 and re-released in 2005. Nick Mertaugh of Grand Belial's Key and Arghoslent was on guitar during 1996. This is mandatory listening for any death metal fan.
