Calling all Demons is the debut album of the Danish-based Moonless. This album belongs next to your Black Sabbath, Orange Goblin, Cirith Ungol, and Cathedral albums. They call their music rock with a doom vibe. Not an altogether unfitting description as Moonless plays a kind of stoner doom not unlike Orange Goblin. However, Moonless are a lot heavier, yet fairly accessible. A reason I think is contributed to Moonless' love for not only doom/heavy metal, but simply also classic rock ?n_ roll. Moonless has a knack for writing memorable and very groovy songs that stick with you long after you've finished listening.
