Five years in the making...the wait is over! Five years to sharpen the edges of their own style, making them stand out as one of the most visionary acts around. Five years to develop a greater confidence with twisted, psychotic yet very effective songwriting, always leaving room for free-hand improvisation. Five years spent in the absolute underground, sharing the stage with many well know bands. Five years... Midryasi are sure the wait was well worth it! The fall of 2009 sees the release of "Corridors", Midryasi's second CD release and first proper full length recording. After the change of guitar player, the band underwent severe rehearsing in order to create the alchemy which has always been necessary for any power trio to succeed, then an intense live activity soon followed, in Italy and abroad. Six tracks were carefully crafted for this Album, songs indebted to old gods such as Black Sabbath, Pentagram, Celtic Frost, Hawkwind and Goblin, yet with a strong and omnipresent own identity and originality.
