Early GEHENNA and old DIMMU BORGIR may also be referenced for comparisons sake, but ELIGOR are not as symphonic or keyboard-oriented as their critics might think, thankfully enough. So don't be fooled by outward appearances; this is utterly frosty atmospheric Norse-core, even though the band is not corpse-painted. Maybe they should be corpse-painted, and breakout the axes, mace, and chain-mail?
