Ironbird is a band project by Ari Honkonen of Morningstar and Minotauri and its basically a continuation of his Perkele project, but casting aside the gothic trappings presented on the Erotic Circus album and returning to a more pagan metal style found on the Pohjola demo. The first Ironbird release was the In The Name Of Turisas demo that was released back in 1999. It was followed by the Osterland EP in 2013 and then this album that was released in January of 2015. The tracks on this album were recorded between 2012 and 2014. If you love Viking metal or pagan metal then its worth checking out.
