Leiru doesn't want to convey a message; it's selfish, mean, individualist, and shows no concern for the world outside. The lyrics are normally characterized by microcosmic self-indulgence: they are usually about personal relationships, dreams and nightmares, and extreme emotions, but occasionally they also address such issues as the pointlessness of existence or, sporadically, the vast depths and measures of the universe.
