Norway's AMONG GODS are back with their second album, a monolithic hybrid of Dark, Heavy Doom and old school Death Metal. Although alot more musical in nature, "Monument" still pack enough punch, hooks and drive to give every self-proclaimed metallers a run for ttheir money... This new album does feel more mature in every aspect, be it for the awe inspiring vocal melodies, the soaring leads and the uber addictive song structures / arangements, AMONG GODS went above and beyond to wrap this all up in a solid crystal clear production. "Monument" is showcasing the band's solid musicianship and its ability to write memorable songs sounding like nobody else.
