The 2003 release of Sonic Bullet holds a crucial place in DESTRUCTOR's history, marking their return from hiatus and introducing longtime bassist Jamie Boulder to the fold. Featuring five powerful new tracks—"Sonic Bullet," "Heavy Artillery," "Silent Enemy," "Blackest Night," and "Master of the Universe"—the original Auburn Records release also included two songs, "G-Force" and "The Triangle," from the 2000 sessions that later became the Back in Bondage album.
This 2019 reissued version revisits and refines that era, swapping out those tracks for the 2007 recordings "Storm of Steel" and "We Are Ready" from the limited-edition Storm of Steel EP, fully completing the band's studio archives. The re-release still features two live tracks from 2002—"Pounding Evil" (recorded at Classic Metal Festival) and "Iron Curtain" (Slayer cover). With stunning new cover art by Larry Weber and a revised layout by Reaper, this is a sonic assault aimed straight at your head and ears!
