Detailed Description
With Those Whom Satan Hath Joined, DOOMSTONE claws its way out of the crypt in triumphant, infernal glory. Originally released in 1994, this debut full-length followed their 1991 demo Possessed Cemeteries and stands as a blood-drenched statement of intent—steeped in sulfur, darkness, and the unholy spirit of classic 1980s metal. Spearheaded by KING FOWLEY (DECEASED, OCTOBER 31), DOOMSTONE emerged from the underground with hell-forged conviction and a lineup of cult heavyweights ready to ready to bring the flames.

True to its roots, the album worships at the altar of VENOM, MERCYFUL FATE, POSSESSED, and THE OBSESSED, while lacing that foundation with a foul blend of early black and death metal filth. But this isn’t empty retro posturing. This is pure, riff-driven, blasphemous heavy metal madness—delivered with tongue-in-cheek irreverence and a deep reverence for the genre’s evil forebears.

What sets Those Whom Satan Hath Joined apart is its atmosphere. It plays like a cursed VHS copy of a long-lost horror flick, saturated in smoky riffs, dungeon-dwelling groove, and over-the-top occult showmanship. The songs are tight, catchy, and never overstay their welcome, balancing grim theatrics with metal-as-hell memorability.

Fueling the album’s demonic energy is an impressive cast of underground veterans: King Fowley (Deceased, October 31) on drums, Les Snyder (Deceased) on bass, Demonic (Grand Belial’s Key) and Dennis Cornelius (Revelation, Memory Garden) on guitars, and Jeff “Vomit” McClelland (writer, Deathvomit zine) on vocals. Together, they summon a masterclass in cult metal worship, each member injecting their own brand of venom into the infernal mix. The chemistry is undeniable—raw, raucous, and fully immersed in the dark fun of it all.

Those Whom Satan Hath Joined is more than just a debut. It’s a celebration of TRUE METAL’s most sinister traditions. Equal parts homage and hellfire, DOOMSTONE proves that evil doesn’t fade—it festers in the shadows, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. HAIL TRUE METAL!
