Medicine Death remains an unknown death metal treasure. The band's immense potential was realised on their second (and final) album. Three years earlier, these guys were a promising Brazilian band with influences that distinguished them from the crowd. Their debut album, "Genetic Radioactive Experiments", hints at the band?s promise. This is impressive music that showcases an emerging vision, even with a raw production. This band had talent. The drumming is varied and colourful, the riffs are inventive and the transitions are superb. The influence of bands like Possessed, Slayer and Sepultura looms in the background. Some of these songs sound like Ripping Corpse or Hellwitch at their most contorted, or Atheist at their most vicious.
