CADAVERIC INCUBATOR was originally formed in 2005 by Necroterror (bass/vocals) and Humiliator (guitar/vocals), with a rotating cast of drummers during the band’s initial run, which lasted about two years. The goal was simple and uncompromising: to create old-school, disgusting deathgrind in the vein of early Carcass, Repulsion, Autopsy, Xysma, Mortician, Blood, and early Disgorge (Mexico). No gimmicks, no politics—just raw, filthy brutality and total death!
During this first incarnation, the band recorded two demos—though only Resurgence of Morbidity saw an official release—and played numerous live shows. However, in early 2007, CADAVERIC INCUBATOR split up due to personal conflicts among the members.
Seven years later, in 2014, Necroterror resurrected the band by joining forces with his longtime comrade Pentele, a figure from the early ’90s Finnish underground. Back in those days, Necroterror played in his first death metal band, Excrement, while Pentele handled drums for Carnifex and Festerday in the same backwoods scene. Original guitarist Humiliator was also invited back, and the newly reunited lineup recorded the demo Unburied Abominations.
Following a series of brutal live appearances and the release of a demos compilation on Terror from Hell Records, the band entered the studio in early 2016 to record their long-awaited debut full-length, Sermons of the Devouring Dead, featuring 12 tracks of relentless deathgrind.
Now, CADAVERIC INCUBATOR is once again prepared to smother the underground in uncleanliness. A glance at song titles like “Swarming Decay,” “Horrific Festering Plagues,” “Gravestench Asphyxiation,” “Unburied Abominations,” and “Conceived in Filth” leaves no doubt about the grotesque path they tread.
Heed these Sermons of the Devouring Dead—and prepare to be swallowed whole by gore-drenched death!
