Just like their previous albums, the path of Mara is clear since their sound has been developing for a decade now. The production is once again raw which is nothing new when you're used to listening to their older works, however this album delivers a more upfront vocal appearance due to the live studio recording which does creates a more intense listening. The guitars deliver you harsh power chords who simply destroy combined with some high shrieking melodies on the lead guitar. The drums and bass guitar pound their way through out the record who support the songwriting in a most excellent manner, where the vocals sound filthy and aggressive as ever before. "Sword of Vengeance" in all its glorification is an ultimate dedicated in the name of Loki and the old ways of Paganism.
