Cerberus, the epic power metal force from Slovakia, finally unleashed their long-awaited debut full-length, three decades after it was originally recorded! Formed in 1985 by Miro Lustig and Peter Junas, the band signed with the Opus label and recorded their album in 1991. However, despite the manufacturing process beginning—evidenced by unused vinyl sleeves found in Opus' old warehouse—the album was never released, and Cerberus disbanded in 1992 or '93.
In a triumphant comeback, Cerberus took matters into their own hands, releasing the album on CD 30 years later, followed by a special vinyl and CD edition through KnightStalker Records. Known for their epic live shows, Cerberus captivated audiences with massive stage setups, pyrotechnics, lighting effects, a towering Gate to Hades prop, and elaborate costumes. Their performances, lasting around two hours, were so intense that an official fire brigade was required at every show. Cerberus’ legacy endures as a powerful reminder of their influence on Slovakia's metal scene.
