Hailing from Texas, E.T.D. play maniacal grindcore for grindcore maniacs. A four-piece, the band feature among their ranks the ever-prolific Francisco Pulido (THY FEEBLE SAVIOUR, Sacreligious Torment, Hypo Christians, Cemetarian et. al.) on guitar and backing vocals, drum-god Joe Dan De La Rosa (P.L.F., HEXELLA et. al.), bassist Charles Sepulveda, and vocalist RM. Together, they released their debut album, Nefarious Means, in early 2023 on cassette and CD. Featuring ten songs in a swift 19 minutes, E.T.D.’s debut album gets in and gets out with cruel efficiency, slaying all in its path. The influences are detectable but destructive – classic Agathocles, classic Carcass, Repulsion, Terrorizer, General Surgery, Impetigo at their most upbeat – and the quartet keep things quick, catchy, and crusty. What’s more, Nefarious Means features powerful, pulverizing production that sounds like actual humans…and ones high on pure & total GRINDCORE. HELLS HEADBANGERS now steps in to release this slab of gutted grind on the format it so deserves: VINYL!
