"Gein" is a concept album delving into the life and crimes of Ed Gein, the notorious murderer, body snatcher, and macabre fashion designer who terrorized Wisconsin in the '50s. His gruesome exploits inspired horror classics like "Psycho," "Deranged," and "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre." This album, recorded at Treboada Studio by Paco "The Maggot" Liaño, offers a leprous overdose of raw Death Metal that will make you want to skin your own face to feed the dog. It's highly recommended for fans of old, grimy demos on moldy tapes, DIY projects with rotting corpses, and extreme auditory experiences.
Unleashed in February 2023, "Gein" was recorded at Treboada Studio with Paco "The Maggot" Liaño at the controls. Dopi handled guitars and bass, Suici played drums, and both contributed to the growling and screaming vocals, as well as writing all the music and lyrics. The cover art, drawn by Nor Prego with ink and paper, perfectly complements the album's eerie aesthetic. The creative process was fueled by coffee, cigarettes, beer, and weed, drawing inspiration from the films "Ed Gein" (2000) and "Deranged" (1974), as well as a documentary by Harold Schechter.
