Continuing where its predecessor left off, Torture Chain returns with an ambitious and effectively executed symphonic, barbaric black death metal saga that could have easily been released on the Nocturnal Art Productions label. Despite its mythological underpinnings, the immense violence of the hooks will not allow one to rest, and the various detours and illusions assuredly challenge the old adage of 'stick to the path'. The path here is made of slick marble, hot springs, blood, and booze. The oxidation effects still turn those idols green, eventually grey.
Lay down on the cold marble and let the gods do their bidding. The hard and crystalline production supports the abusive voice of the torturer.
