Just in time for the holiday season, King Diamond’s iconic “No Presents for Christmas” returns to vinyl!
Originally unleashed in 1985, this two-track classic is being reissued by Metal Blade Records for Black Friday, now featuring brand-new artwork and two exclusive vinyl color variants available worldwide.
Side A includes the infamous holiday anthem “No Presents for Christmas,” while Side B features the haunting “Charon” from the Fatal Portrait album.
To mark the occasion, King Diamond has teamed up with his U.S. merch company to offer a limited-edition lithograph—personally signed by the King himself.
King Diamond shared his excitement:
“We’re thrilled to bring No Presents for Christmas back to vinyl, especially with this incredible new cover! Livia designed the ‘glass mansion’ you see—it had such a strong vibe, I knew we had to use it. It looks like something you'd find in the Christmas section next to Frank Sinatra, but with a dark, sinister twist once you look closer. I appear like a ghost—the ghost trying to ruin Christmas!
This was the first King Diamond track ever released and was originally performed live in December 1985. It holds a special place in our hearts, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do!”
