Vio-Lence, a seminal American thrash metal band formed in 1985 in the San Francisco Bay Area, is renowned for its pivotal role in the genre's second wave. This compilation showcases their demo discography, including the Rehearsal demo 1986, Demo 1986, Demo 1988, LIVE Miami, 17 August 1988, and the 'Torgue' demo 1993. Restored and mastered by Patrick W. Engel at TEMPLE OF DISHARMONY (known for Sodom, Darkthrone, and Sacred Reich), with additional work by Achilleas Kalantzis (Varathron, Possessed). The compilation features extensive liner notes by Laurent Ramadier (Snake Pit Mag) and Phil Demmel, accompanied by rare photos. Core members include Sean Killian on vocals, Phil Demmel on guitars (also known for Lamb of God, ex Slayer, ex Overkill & ex Machine Head live), Deen Dell on bass, Perry Strickland on drums (also known for ex-Exodus & Testament live), and Troy Fua on guitar for the first demo. The Demo 1988 features Robb Flynn on guitars (known for Forbidden Evil, Machine Head).
