At long last, both iconic DESASTER demos, "The Fog Of Avalon" and "Lost In The Ages," are available together in a limited collector's box set on digipak-CD for the very first time.
Darkness Shall Rise Productions, following the release of the tape version in 2016 (DSR026), takes great pride in presenting these early milestones of German Black Metal in the form of limited digipak CDs.
This exclusive set is elegantly housed within a robust, high-quality black case-wrapped box featuring a transparent coating with UV-varnish accents. The box is strictly limited to 500 hand-numbered copies worldwide, and it's not just the music that's a part of this package. Alongside the two official demos, there's a third CD with a live performance in Dessau (Germany) from 1995, accompanied by a bonus DVD containing three live shows by the band and a complete rehearsal session, all from the period of 1992-1995. This bonus material offers almost 2 hours of exclusive content. As a final touch, all the audio has been expertly restored and remastered by Patrick W. Engel at the Temple of Disharmony.
The visual elements are equally impressive, with cover artwork for the box and "The Fog Of Avalon" by Misanthropic Art.
The contents of the box include:
- CD 1: "The Fog Of Avalon"
- CD 2: "Lost In The Ages"
- CD 3: "Live in Dessau 1995"
- DVD: "Live/Rehearsal 1992-1995"
But that's not all. This special collector's box also comprises:
