Formed in 2020, Abreaction is a one man old school slamming deathgrind project by Patric Pariano (Abraded, Hemdale, MDFL + More). The title Puer Aeternity" comes from the term "Puer Aeternus" describing an archetypal child god, who represents creativity and renewal but also boundlessness and immaturity. This combined with the term "Eternity" means an eternity in childhood. The album seeks to portray the inevitable transformation of everything fun and light in childhood becoming burdensome and constructing to the life of the adult and the emotional implications in that enantiodromia."
