Arkhon Infaustus, being one of France's most extreme satanic Black Metal bands, was formed in 1997 by D. Deviant (vocals, guitar) and 666 Torturer (bass, vocals) who both used to play in the band Osculum Infame. The band name consists of "Arkhon" which means "prince" in greek and "Infaustus" which means "sombre, evil" in latin. Arkhon Infaustus delivers a hectic and unique mix of Death and Black Metal with a malevolent feeling. "Perdition Insanabilis" is an album essentially based on insanity and spiritual deconstruction; a fall of hysterical obsessions - cries and disgust under psychotropic influences. A new page is turned but not read yet. This highly controversial band has been censored in some countries due to their extreme lyrics and artwork.
