The third full-length album from 2003 sees its first US domestic release. "Battlefields" is very carefully mastered. The most tragic and serious HATE FOREST album. Featuring documentary recordings of Ukrainian old traditional songs and a real funeral made in a small Carpathian village as the final track "Keening". Most of those Ukrainian nobles, which are images you can see in the booklet died in battles or were executed.
