Lord Belial, a prominent force in Swedish black metal, emerged in 1992 and marked their debut album release in 1995. Over their active years until their disbandment in 2015, they delivered eight full-length albums. This demo compilation, titled 'Wrath of Belial,' showcases the band's early works, featuring the seven-track 1993 demo 'The Art of Dying' and the five-track 1994 demo 'Into the Frozen Shadows.' The cover art is crafted by Roberto Toderico (known for Pestilence, Fleshcrawl, Siege of Power). Lord Belial's lineup comprised Niclas Andersson on guitar (ex-Sacramentum, ex-Dimension Zero), brothers Micke (drums) and Thomas (vocals/guitars) Backelin, and their cousin Anders Backelin on bass (Trident, Death Tyrant).
