The first four albums released by Finland's Sentenced are a whirlwind of styles, as the band quickly and effectively jumped between musical genres. On "Amok", their third album released in 1995, the band settled into a classical heavy metal style for an album, showcasing the incredible talent of late guitarist Miika Tenkula, whose lead playing shines like a beacon throughout the entirety of the album. "Amok" represents some of the band's most diverse and catchy songs to date, and was their last studio album with vocalist Taneli Jarva.
