As demonstrated by their recent fourth album released by INVICTUS PRODUCTIONS, MALOKARPATAN stands as a band out of time, blending heavy and black metal with medieval elements deeply rooted in their native cultural history. Similarly, NECROMANTE has carved a unique path over the past fifteen years, honoring their Brazilian predecessors like MYSTIFIER while embracing the occult-driven, atmospheric, and primitive essence of the early '90s European scene, as embodied by MORTUARY DRAPE and SAMAEL's "Into The Pentagram" era.
Inevitably, these two kindred spirits were destined to forge an alliance. Thanks to DOOMENTIA, this dream has become a reality with a very special split EP, featuring two exclusive tracks. MALOKARPATAN's "Daemon Zlatavych Noci" is a slow-paced, gloomy homage to the late '80s Czech proto-black metal scene icons TÖRR and MORIORR. On the flip side, NECROMANTE's "Magickal Black Moon" is the first track recorded by their newly expanded international lineup, showcasing a raw yet bewitching style.
True to the high standards set by the label since its inception, DOOMENTIA has delivered two distinct and highly collectible artworks, each dedicated to one of the featured bands. The EP also includes a lyrics sheet and a classy gatefold cover. Forces of darkness unite!
