Emerging from India’s rising extreme metal scene, TETRAGRAMMACIDE first erupted in 2014 with the Tetragrammacidal Oration promo, a harbinger of the barbarity to follow.
Now, the shadowy duo unleash Typhonian Wormholes, a seven-track mushroom cloud of total devastation and doom. True to its name, the record is an overwhelming onslaught of blown-out barbarism, in-the-red frequencies, and holocaustic atmosphere. Comparisons can be drawn to progenitors like early Nyogthaeblisz, Goatpenis, later Nuclearhammer, or Intolitarian, yet TETRAGRAMMACIDE exude a genocidal aura entirely their own.
They do not belong to the "black metal" scene, nor do they subscribe to conventional definitions of "noise." “War metal” may be the closest term, but even that falls short. Martial yet devoted to chaos, TETRAGRAMMACIDE have forged a soundworld where there is no hope, no mercy, no fun: no “scenes” exist, because all have been obliterated by their undulating, uncompromising waves of sonic hatred.
