Soulrot is a Death Metal band from the port city of Valparaiso, Chile. Their sound is characterized by desecrating the old chainsaw distortion of the school of Scandinavian Death Metal. With many influences like Entombed, Dismember, Carcass, Grave, Autopsy, Nirvana 2002, Asphyx among other, Soulrot make a hodgepodge of homage and refreshment to the sound of Traditional Death Metal.
