NIGHT GAUNT from Rome plays some of the grimmest, most intoxicated and creeped-out sounding heavy doom coming out of the boot-shaped country these days. The band's riffs are absolutely crushing and the rhythms, while slow and slimy, are also unrelenting and totally punishing.
