Dave Rotten's vocals exude metaphorical shreds of flesh, complemented by the band's relentless battery and atmospheric nuances that lend credibility to the themes. The "eaten by aliens in space" concept, though lacking cliched extraterrestrial ambience or samples, finds expression through the eerie guitar leads intertwining with 'Vile Evil Rotted Over'. Despite the seeming incompatibility of heavy death metal with the term "atmospheric," the intermittently pulverizing riffs and eerie solos create a gruesome and uncanny ambiance.
