Frostmoon Eclipse, one of the oldest Black Metal entities from Italy are celebrating their 30th anniversary in 2024 and what better way to celebrate three decades of darkness then to relive the days of old? For this special occasion we excavated their back catalogue and breathe new life into their first four full length albums through a remastering of the old works and repacking each album in brand new artwork, to be released each on Vinyl for the very first time and together in an exclusive 4disc CD boxset. Their third full length album "Dead and Forever Gone" was originally recorded and released in 2005 through ISO666. Compared to the first 2 full length albums, where old school black metal was the main ingredient of the band their sound, the band decided to lay the focus completely on the acoustic aspect of their music for their 3rd studio album. Beautiful acoustic guitars with mellow drum parts led by a strong gentle bass guitar that bring together some of the most beautiful compositions you've ever heard on an acoustic record. The soft, clean and yet warm vocals are a welcomed addition which brings the right dose of freshness throughout the album. Dead and Forever Gone is without a doubt a crown jewel within Frostmoon Eclipse their entire discography, a record that stands completely on its own and far from the dangerous sounds of what we call black metal.
