This is about moors, brooks and ghost lights; about embittered quiet emptiness, loss and solitude, silence and wordless wisdom in all phenomena.
Started out in late 2006 by Miserere and Alboin, Inarborat immediately gathered the sum of an archaic rehearsal atmosphere upon a demo recording, which had been released as the "Wisdom Sans Words" demo in October 2007.
Even before Inarborat got enforced by C. and signed to our label V_n, they started working on the self titled debut album, also featuring all demo tracks in re-arranged and re-recorded versions. "Inarborat" is stone and wood, cord and freedom, the end and a new beginning. As an album having been heavily inspired by the traditional atmospheric black metal of the 90s, it utilizes harsh and cold guitar tunes, storming snd thundering drums and carefully used synthesizers to wrest you into a 50 minutes lasting ivory tower dream. This is momotonous and varying, melodic and fightening. But first of all it's black metal and emotion.
