Since forming in 1990 underground UK metal mainstays Cathedral have released ten studio albums and several EP's. A large part of their career was spent recording for Earache Records, debuting with the landmark 1991 doom metal classic Forest of Equilibrium. Following the label's vinyl reissues of the aforementioned doom masterpiece and the band's seminal third album The Carnival Bizarre (1995) comes fourth album Supernatural Birth Machine (1996) which walks a fine line between doom and stoner rock and finds Lee Dorrian and company taking listeners on a thrilling ride through the wild and wonderful!
