Their debut full-length album, "For the Security," was originally released through Thrash Records. Vic Records has now reissued this essential album, complete with liner notes from the band members and two exclusive, previously unreleased bonus tracks.
Carbonized, one of the pioneering Swedish death metal bands from the late '80s and early '90s, was formed in 1989 in Saltsjöbaden, Sweden. Featuring members from notable bands like Therion, Entombed, and Dismember, Carbonized stood out by incorporating grind and progressive elements into their music, distinguishing them from peers like Dismember and Nihilist/Entombed.
The band's journey began with their first demo, "Au-To-Dafe," in September 1989, which quickly caught the attention of French label Thrash Records. This led to the release of their first EP, "No Canonization," in 1990, followed by their second demo, "Recarbonized," later that year.
