BLACKLODGE stand at the fiery crossroads of innovative audacity in extreme music creation and rigorous research in dark psychodelic mysticism. With their fourth album "MachinatioN" the French alchemistic explorers are entering a new dimension of mechanical insanity. Electronic Industrial beats and textures are amalgamated with the blackest of Metal sounds into a heavy Satanic alloy. Mutating from an underground Black Metal act named FAUST, BLACKLODGE was conceived by vocalist, guitarist and programmer Saint Vincent. Two more members were recruited later in order to perform live and this trio recorded the debut album "Login:SataN" (2003). Braving new horizons of avant-garde technological abuse, BLACKLODGE returned with their second full-length "One year later the French toured Europe with Horna and Vorkreist. This experience transformed the band that abandoned corpsepaint and delved deeper into its own spirit. This resulted in a split-album with ABIGOR called "T/ME" (2010). In 2011 BLACKLODGE recorded "MachinatioN" in Hiroshima studio, while mix and mastering took place during the Fukushima accident at Necromorbus studio by Tore Stjerna again. "MachinatioN" comes less experimental and noise oriented than "T/ME" and leans to the heaviness and uncanny catchy power of ">SolarKult<". Witness BLACKLODGE unveil HIS truth to the world! Stay alert!
