Angelcorpse rallies the forces with "Exterminate," an album that masterfully amalgamates elements of classical, archaic death metal reminiscent of Morbid Angel's "Altars of Madness" era. Guitarists Bill Taylor and the core member, Gene Palubicki, unleash a relentless barrage of riffs that are the very essence of the firestorm that is "Exterminate." Attempting to pinpoint standout riffs is a futile endeavor, given the consistently high quality throughout the album. Even more than 25 years after its 1998 release, "Exterminate" stands as a testament to unwavering dedication. Every facet of the album, from its artwork and lyrics to its production and, most crucially, its music, has been meticulously crafted, resulting in a work that continues to astonish and captivate.
