After a brief hiatus, one of black metal's most influential bands returns with their 10th full-length album, featuring their original lineup—widely regarded as their most powerful. This lineup includes the return of Silenius on vocals, renowned as a key figure in Summoning. Leytmotif Luzifer is crafted as a liturgical work, dedicated to the third path in Satanic mysteries: pure, uncompromising worship and the trials of temptation that humanity must overcome. Musically, the album is stripped of any synthetic elements; the guitars are entirely untouched by effects—no reverb or post-production was applied to the string sections. Only a subtle hint of reverb and delay enhances the vocals, preserving the album’s raw and unblemished intensity.
