The Crypt is proud to announce the complete discography from Sweden's ABHOTH featuring ex members of UTUMNO, GOD MACABRE, BOMBS OF HADES and AFFLICTED.
Abhoth were one of the first death metal bands in Sweden and formed in the town of V?ster's in 1988 under the name Morbid Salvation Army. The original line-up included vocalist Joakim Br_ms who left in 1990 to join Afflicted (ex-Afflicted Convulsion).
This 2 LP set features The Matter of Splatter - Demo 1989, Forever to be Vanished There In - Demo 1991, The Tide - EP 1992, Divine Orphan - Demo 1994 and unreleased demo / rehearsal tracks from 1990-91.
Strictly limited to a one-time only pressing of 500 hand-numbered copies, these classic tracks are spread over 2 x 180 gram heavy vinyl LPs: - 200 of which will be black vinyl and 300 of which will be white vinyl.
Both LPs come in a 350 gram sturdy, reverseboard printed gatefold jacket, complete with the original classic "The Tide" cover illustration by Paw Nielsen, rare band phot's, cult interviews and new extensive liner not's by Jonas St_lhammar and J_rgen Kristensen.
We have also included a huge, 24" x 24" (60.96 cm x 60.96 cm) poster of the Paw Nielsen "The Tide" cover artwork.
